Getting Started
How do I get started?
You can schedule a session using the button on this page or reach out by phone. We’ll start with a simple conversation about what you’re looking for and whether it feels like a good fit.
What can I expect in the first session?
The first session is a chance to talk through what’s been going on and what you’d like help with. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we’ll take it one step at a time.
What if I’m nervous about starting therapy?
That’s completely normal. Many people feel unsure at first. My goal is to create a calm, comfortable space where you can talk at your own pace without pressure or judgment.
Do you work with individuals, teens, and couples?
Yes. I work with individuals, teens, and couples, depending on what kind of support you’re looking for.
About Counseling
How long are sessions?
Sessions are 50 minutes, which gives us enough time to talk through what’s going on without it feeling overwhelming.
How long will I need to be in counseling?
That depends on your goals and what you’re working through. Some people come for a short season, while others benefit from longer-term support.
What do you do in session?
Sessions are conversational, but also practical. We’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
What is your approach to counseling?
My approach is thoughtful and practical. I draw from methods like CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help you understand patterns, manage emotions, and move forward.
Is it normal to not know what to say in therapy?
Yes. You don’t need to come in with the “right words.” Part of the process is figuring things out together.
Teen Counseling
What if my teen doesn’t want to come to counseling?
That’s common. I work to build trust at a pace that feels comfortable for them, without forcing the process.
Will I be involved in my teen’s counseling?
Yes—with balance. I provide general updates and guidance while also respecting your teen’s need for privacy so they can feel safe opening up.
What issues do you help teens with?
I work with teens experiencing anxiety, stress, mood changes, social struggles, and challenges at school or home.
